How does Invisalign® treatment work for teens?
Invisalign® for teens works the same way as Invisalign® for adults - using a series of clear plastic aligners to guide the teeth into alignment in secrecy. The aligners are removable, so teens can take them out for meal times, date nights, and important social events as needed.
There is one difference in Invisalign® clear aligners for teens. The aligners come with blue wear indicators on them to help teens remember to wear them for the recommended 22 hours a day.
Instead of coming in for frequent adjustment appointments, our Specialist Orthodontists will instruct your teen to switch to a new set of aligners every couple weeks. This helps them progress through treatment, as each aligner brings them closer to their new smile.
